Located in the historic Sugar Hill/Hamilton Heights District, the Dance Theater of Harlem represents a collaboration between non-profit cultural organizations and NYC’s vast need for affordable housing. Built on a long-standing vacant lot originally slated for Non-Profit Cultural Organizations, the DTH offers 39 “100 percent affordable housing units in a neighborhood where market-rate apartments are becoming widespread while retaining the ground floor for use by the dance theater.
