SLM Architecture P.C.| Design Solutions Inc. is seeking a Field Verifying Architect to work in our Mineola, NY Office. Candidates must have at least 5 years of full-time experience with multi-family residential, new construction, and rehabilitation projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to visually inspecting apartments, take photographs, collect data, and compile a report based on your findings. Field Visits will be within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
Candidates must also be detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to receive and use constructive criticism. A team player who is willing to work with others and is able to work on projects alone. Must be dependable and can handle multiple projects at once efficiently and in a timely manner. Able to work in a fast-paced challenging environment supervised or independently.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred
- Multi-Family Residential experience (NYCHA a plus)
- 10 hour OSHA Certification
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Must provide samples of your reports
- Three references
- Conduct and document observations during Pre-Construction and Post Construction Phases of the project
- Monitor, record and inspect the progress at multiple sites
- Perform other duties as needed
